Victory to New Victory!

After a short day in school, Bonded Boy brought Skater Girl, Lady Chillax and myself to eat at New Victory, an Indian restaurant just beside of Zam Zam. He told us that his father always brought him there to eat & I was curious what was so great abouut the place. He ordered a large plate of beef murtabak & the 4 of us shared almost equally. When I started to eat, it felt the murtabak just sinks inside my mouth. The dough was freaking soft! It was so soft & crispy that I think even an old man with reduced number of teeth will be able to enjoy the whole plate. WooHoo! SEDAP LIKE CRAZY!!
I was glad that Bonded Boy brought us there as without him introducing the restaurant to me, I will never think such a place ever existed. Thank you Ammar! Also I also want to thank Skater Girl & Lady Chillax for a great afternoon. The 4 of us had fun & I do hope it won't be our last.

Last Supper with ADC

If I were to describe ADC in one word, it would definitely be CAMERA-CRAZY. As soon as a person starts toholda camera, my cca peeps will run infront of the person like mad men, pushing one another just to get into a picture. I have to admit, I am indeed one of them. I seriously think it is an impulse thing.

Having said that, eating dinner with them ADC was actually an experience like no other. All of us were engrosed by all the food served & everybody wanted to try a little of everything. Some tasted great while some were just BLUEEK, especially that soursop thing in a cup. It was super sour that my eyes started to twitch a little. We spent about 2 hours eating sushi, spaghetti, baby octupos, dim sum, durian puff etc.

After which, the new sub-committee was revealed. Congrats to all of them who were chosen! Even though I'm not one of the chosen ones, I was not upset as I knew that perhaps I will be able to shine in different areas. Who knows.

Oh yes, before I forget, I finally met R after 6 years of not meeting her! To those of you who don't know who R is, let's just say I regard her as a good friend. I was shocked to see her that I shrieked a little. She looks way better than the primary school days. Good Job R! After all those communicaton without visual and audio aid, I was glad having to meet her, even for a short while.

the day that made my week

Thank God. I finally managed to go back to JYSS to play with one of my metal babies..Both of them were standing in the store room since last year and nobody had even played with them. When I opened my Yanagisawa saxophone, it's like a reunion like never before. I was also glad to see my cute little juniors, happy as always, saying hello to me. It has been quite a while since I saw them & it was indeed nice spending time with them. With a new conductor coming in to the band, I honestly think that it is good as by this, they will create new music, with a new conductor, thus opening a new chapter. Welcome Mr Ng!

Having the chance to meet up with my teachers was also the highlight of the day. From Mr Ryan Tan, Mr Ivan Tan, Mr Alsagoff, Mdm Yang, Ms Nadiah, Ms Z & Big Momma F. I felt as though I was a student in JYSS again & catching up with them was great.

Dinner with Jules, Shik & Ms Z was really the best. We had fun chatting about the old days, what's up in our lives & what our future are going to look like. Not forgetting the occasiOnal lame jokes that Ms Z told us.

Lastly, having the day off to go back to JYSS was hands down the best day of the week. It felt as though all my worries had disappeared & I'm loving every moment. I don't know why but I still do love JYSS.

You guys made my day.

It's been quite some time since I visited my metal babies. They have been sleeping in their boxes and I blame myself for not spending more time with them. I don't think that anybody will understand the loving relationship that we had for almost 3 years. To be honest, I can't bear looking at another person playing them. They are so dear to me & it is indeed hard letting them go.

Finally, tomorrow I will be visiting them & I do hope that we can make magic.
I love my 2 saxophones.

Finally completed my essay assignment! After all those times meeting up with Nadirah at MacD & callling Sabreena non-stop I do hope to get a descent grade for my essay. Please God! Help me pass! It took me 2 long weeks to complete this 1500 word essay & I hope it pays off.
I still need to study for 2 more tests coming up very soon & I don't think I have the time to slack anymore.. Drive like crazy until you blow up. BOOM!

What are my resolutions for the new year?
- making more great friends
- get good grades & hopefully into D's list (if God's willing)
- get a job!
- be a splendid volunteer for the YOG
- achieve in anything that comes along the way
