Thank God. I finally managed to go back to JYSS to play with one of my metal babies..Both of them were standing in the store room since last year and nobody had even played with them. When I opened my Yanagisawa saxophone, it's like a reunion like never before. I was also glad to see my cute little juniors, happy as always, saying hello to me. It has been quite a while since I saw them & it was indeed nice spending time with them. With a new conductor coming in to the band, I honestly think that it is good as by this, they will create new music, with a new conductor, thus opening a new chapter. Welcome Mr Ng!
Having the chance to meet up with my teachers was also the highlight of the day. From Mr Ryan Tan, Mr Ivan Tan, Mr Alsagoff, Mdm Yang, Ms Nadiah, Ms Z & Big Momma F. I felt as though I was a student in JYSS again & catching up with them was great.
Dinner with Jules, Shik & Ms Z was really the best. We had fun chatting about the old days, what's up in our lives & what our future are going to look like. Not forgetting the occasiOnal lame jokes that Ms Z told us.
Lastly, having the day off to go back to JYSS was hands down the best day of the week. It felt as though all my worries had disappeared & I'm loving every moment. I don't know why but I still do love JYSS.
